Department of Social Services: Provides a number of programs and services to protect children and seniors, as well as services that promote self-sufficiency for families and individuals.
Guardian ad Litem: The North Carolina Guardian ad Litem (GAL) program equips community volunteers to serve abused and neglected children by advocating for their best interests in court.
Granville Vance Public Health: Protect and promote health in Granville and Vance counties.
Families Living Violence Free: Granville County’s domestic violence and rape crisis center.
NC Harm Reduction Coalition: Organization dedicated to the implementation of harm reduction interventions, public health strategies, drug policy transformation, and justice reform.
Smart Start: Non-profit organization led by local volunteers, who design and provide programs and services for families and children in Franklin, Granville, and Vance counties, North Carolina.
Franklin Vance Warren Opportunity: Administers social service programs in partnership with the Federal Government, charitable funders and State and local municipalities.
Low Income Energy Assistance Program: Provides a one-time annual vendor payment to help eligible families pay their heating expense.
KARTS: Public, rural transportation system providing scheduled/reserved rides that are convenient, safe, affordable and dependable.
Oxford Loop Shuttle: This shuttle is funded through a grant from the N.C. Department of Transportation and there is currently no cost to ride. Open to any one of any age and makes scheduled stops within the city limits of Oxford, Monday through Friday.
Lifeline Outreach Inc: Provides shelter for women and children in crisis. They also operate a Food Pantry to help feed those who are in need, and a Thrift Store which sells donated items to help with the costs of the shelter.
ACIM: Non-profit Food Pantry Serving Granville County, North Carolina.
Granville & Vance Food Calendar: Schedule for food pantries in Granville and Vance County.
Library Farm to Fridge Program: Free to the public. Produce donated by local farmers and ACIM.
