The Express Library at Oak Hill

The Granville County Library System offers two Express Library sites; Oak Hill and Wilton. These sites consist of lockers and a book return. Materials can be placed on hold from home or from the Express Library site, and delivered to a locker at the site by choosing this option when placing your hold. Transit deliveries are made to Oakhill on Tuesdays.

Berea Branch Library

Located on Hwy 158 just west of Oxford, the Berea Branch serves the western part of Granville County. This branch features four public access computers, an extensive paperback exchange collection, a children’s collection and an ever-expanding assortment of DVDs, fiction, non-fiction, and large-print books.
We offer free WiFi at all of our branches.

  • Tuesday: 9am - 3pm
  • Thursday: 1pm - 7pm
  • Friday: 9am - 3pm
  • Closed on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday

Stovall Branch Library

The Stovall Branch serves northern Granville County and is located right down the street from Town Hall.
This branch offers a selection of print and media resources to satisfy the recreation and lifelong learning needs of the community.
We offer free WiFi at all of our branches.

  • Wednesday: 9am - 5pm
  • Thursday: 11am - 7pm
  • Friday: Closed
  • Saturday: 10am - 5pm

South Branch Library

The South Branch Library is located in Creedmoor; nestled between the Granville County Early College High School and the Vance-Granville Community College (South Campus).

This branch features 12 public access computers, a thriving paperback exchange program, a children’s collection, and an ever-expanding assortment of fiction, non-fiction, large-print, audiobooks, MP3s and movies. Copy and fax services are also available.
The South Branch Library has a large meeting room for public use.

Richard H. Thornton Library

The Thornton Library is located in historic downtown Oxford, at the corner of Main Street and Spring Street. This is our main branch and features the bulk of our print collection; including a large children’s collection and an extensive assortment of magazines and newspapers. We also have a large variety of audio book cds and DVDs.
