Library Board of Trustees

The function and duties of the Board of Trustees of the Granville County Library System are those as set forth in the General Statutes of the State of North Carolina. They include, but are not limited to the appointment of a Director of Libraries, the adoption of policies, rules and regulations for the governance of the library in the best interest of the citizens of the community, the authorization of sound fiscal policies and the adoption, and amendment as needed, of the annual budget. As citizens, they advise the Library administration on services to fulfill the library needs of the community, represent the Library to the community and advance support of the Library among funding authorities.
